Doubts whispered as the sun dipped low: Am I chasing shadows? Desire tugged him toward every distraction, yet none quenched his thirst for purpose. Exhausted, he sank to the earth, the breeze cold against his skin, and in the quiet he heard a steady voice: “Bind your wandering heart to me.” Gently, Christ hugged the boy as the horizon softened into dusk. “In return for your restless seeking, I offer purpose and meaning.” The boy at first unsure, returned the embrace, feeling his scattered longings settle into a calm resolve. About the Artist
Gabriel Heaton, a mental health nurse, has striven to follow Jesus Christ throughout his life. His longing to grasp the healing and grace of the Savior has grown deeper through his personal experiences as one of Christ's lost sheep. After being lovingly brought back by Christ and finding healing through His Atonement, Gabriel feels called to extend that same healing to others. As part of this mission, he began exploring modern digital art tools like Midjourney, Photoshop, and Procreate, using them as creative outlets to share Christ’s love and message as the ultimate Healer and Savior.
