While making this piece I was thinking about the quiet, unseen work of faith—how so much of our spiritual growth happens slowly and silently, long before we ever see the fruit of it. I chose to depict the Savior from behind, walking steadily through a vast, golden wheat field that stretches out toward a high, soft white sky. The horizon is minimalist and open, keeping the focus entirely on His solitary walk through the ripe harvest. Creating this piece was a personal reminder that Christ is actively tending to the fields of our lives. Even in quiet seasons when it feels like nothing is changing, He is working in the background, nourishing our efforts, bringing purpose to our patience, and helping us grow into who we are meant to become.
