Be Still Gallery Wrap
In the original Hebrew of this psalm, the word “harpu” (be still) means “to let go” or “release.” A more direct translation would be “make yourselves let go.” The key point here is that it’s not just about passively waiting, but about actively choosing to let go. In doing so, we recognize that God is in control and can experience His power, mercy, and grace to save us. Christ is calling us to be still, to release what we cannot control, and to trust in the One who holds all things in His hands. Today, this week and this year, I am choosing to let go, be still, and know that He is God.
